Q: Is this celebration invite only?
A: Yes. The invitation only extends to the person(s) listed on the envelope. You MUST RSVP by Sunday, April 3rd, 2022 or your invite will be nullified.
Q: Is proof of vaccination required?
A: Yes. You MUST present your physical vaccination + State ID or a photo of your vaccination card + State ID.
Q: Can I bring a plus one?
A: Due to limited seating, you CANNOT bring a plus one. Married couples are entitled to bring their spouse who have already been accounted for.
Q: Can I bring my children?
A: No. Children are NOT allowed.
Q: What is the dress code?
A: Formal Evening Attire (English or Traditional).
Q: Is valet available at the venue?
A: Yes! We will be paying for your valet fee on the evening of the event. We highly suggest arriving at the Ritz Carlton at 5:45PM. This way you have enough time to leave your vehicle with valet, check-in at the event venue, and attend Cocktail Hour.
Q: Do I have to bring my invitation on the day of the event?
A: Not Necessarily. You will need to present the Admission Ticket provided to you within the invitation when checking-in at the event venue. The Admission Ticket provided only extends to the person(s) listed on the envelope. Therefore, make sure to arrive and check-in together.
Q: Do I have to attend Cocktail Hour?
A: No, Cocktail Hour is NOT mandatory. However, please note that all guest will be ushered from the Cocktail Hour section into the main Ballroom starting at 7PM. Check-in will stop and doors to the main Ballroom will close at 7:15PM sharp! No guests will be allowed to enter beyond this time.
Q: Will dinner be provided for guests that arrive on Friday evening?
A: Yes! We will be distributing Nigerian cuisine To-Go plates on Friday, April 29th, 2022 from 6PM-10:30PM. This food is only for guests coming from out of state and for guests rooming with us at either the Hyatt Regency Boston or the Ritz- Carlton, Boston. Food can be picked up at the Hyatt Regency Boston. Room number details will be released on Friday afternoon.
Q: Will breakfast be provided for guest that decide to stay at the Hyatt Regency Boston or the Ritz-Carlton, Boston?
A: Yes! Guests who decide to room with us at the Hyatt Regency Boston or the Ritz-Carlton, Boston will have their breakfast paid for on Saturday, April 30th, 2022. Breakfast will be served from 8AM - 10AM at the Hyatt Regency Boston.
Q: How far away is the Hyatt Regency Boston from The Ritz-Carlton, Boston?
A: Three minutes by walking.
Q: Will guests staying at the Hyatt Regency Boston be shuttled to The Ritz-Carlton, Boston on the evening of the event?
A: Yes! Shuttle service will begin at 5:40PM. The last shuttle will leave at 6:50PM.
